Welcoming New Staff in 2020!

Project Success welcomed seven new members to our team in early 2020! Adding these talented individuals has been a crucial part of broadening our reach to serve 16,000 students. Our new staff members reflect the growth of multiple teams in the organization, including four new program coordinators, two additions to our Development and Communications team, and a Database Manager!

We are pleased to introduce you to our new staff:

Program Team

Chase Coley Chase Coley
Program Coordinator

Chase, a Minnesota native, is a Project Success alum from Washburn High School. She is also a 2018 graduate from the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!) with a degree in International Business Studies, Development and Human Rights. Post-graduation, Chase played professional basketball in Kinna, Sweden. After living and playing basketball abroad she returned to Minneapolis to work with youth and be close to family. Emily VangEmily Vang
Program Coordinator

Emily is from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota and has lived in Minnesota her whole life. She graduated with a degree in Youth Studies with a minor in Family and Community Engagement from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Before joining Project Success, Emily was a lead youth counselor for Girls Inc. at YWCA Minneapolis, where she worked with middle school and high school students interested in STEM careers. Miceal BogarMicael Bogar
Database Manager

Micael joined Project Success after relocating to Minneapolis from the west coast. She is a certified Salesforce Administrator and has worked extensively as a Salesforce Consultant and Project Manager in the nonprofit sector. She is a former Peace Corps Volunteer, Fulbright Fellow, holds a Master of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Willamette University. Roshni DesaiRoshni Desai
Program Coordinator

Roshni was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She has a degree from the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program. She is an actor, educator, and activist in the Twin Cities. Read more about Roshni.


Savannah BustilloSavannah Bustillo
Program Coordinator

Savannah is a printmaker, bookmaker, and papermaker from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated with a BFA in studio art and has a second major in anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis. Her art focuses on the linguistic practices of communities and all the ways data collected on communication can be visualized. Savannah has an extensive background of teaching workshops in nonprofit art centers. Read more about Savannah.

Ken StoryKen Story
Development Manager

Ken has been in the Twin Cities community for the past two years, after growing up and working in North Dakota. Having studied mass communications, political science, and broadcast public relations in the North Dakota University System, Ken has chosen to dedicate his life to the nonprofit sector, as he is an alum of the Boys and Girls Club. His specialized development work is geared towards individual and annual giving, institutional giving and partnerships and event planning. Read more about Ken.


Jazz Castañeda
Development and Communications Assistant

Jazz, originally from the Washington D.C. area, is an artist who has lived in the Twin Cities for the last seven years. She has a Business Management Associates degree from Minneapolis Community and Technical College and is a current student at Metropolitan State University majoring in Creative Writing. For the last five years Jazz has maintained a photography business and freelances as a writer. Read more about Jazz.
