Chase is a South Minneapolis native who graduated from Washburn High School and is a Project Success alum. After graduation she went on to play basketball at the University of Iowa. Go Hawkeyes! She graduated in 2018 with a degree in International Business Studies, Development and Human Rights. In the following basketball season she lived and played professional basketball in Kinna, Sweden.
