Theater FAQs

There is no limit! Sometimes shows fill up and we place ticket requests on a waitlist, but we always encourage you to register so we know you are interested.

Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email to the preferred address provided on the registration form. We will also send a reminder via email as well as call or text a few days prior to the show. Sometimes confirmations go to the junk folder. If you do not see an email, please give us a call at (612) 874-7710 so we can ensure your registration went through!

Free transportation is provided by volunteer drivers in their personal vehicles. Drivers pick-up at your preferred location, enjoy the show with you, then bring you home after the show. We must receive ride requests at least 2 days prior to the show so we can set up your ride.

If you set up a ride and are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Volunteer drivers donate their time and resources to bring students and families to the theater. The sooner you can let us know, the sooner we can inform our volunteers of the change and make plans to provide a different family with free transportation to the show.

We provide childcare at no cost to families that want to attend a theater experience. Our contracted childcare workers undergo a background check, have experience working with children, and align with the Project Success mission. It is preferred that families notify Project Success of a childcare need prior to the day of the performance so we may have a childcare worker ready with any supplies at the location on the day of the performance.

You can inform Project Success of any accessibility needs (mobility, hearing, visual, etc.) for you or anyone in your group when you fill out the registration form or simply give us a call! You do not need to contact the theater directly as we will work with them to ensure your accessibility needs are met.

Seats are not assigned unless for accessibility purposes. Most of our tickets are donated to us by our theater partners. We receive the tickets at the location on the night of the event, then distribute them to Project Success students and families as they arrive at the theater. We always do our best to accommodate any seating requests. We do, however, suggest arriving early as our best seats can go quickly!

Please notify Project Success as soon as possible of any cancellations of tickets, transportation, or childcare. This allows us to offer tickets to other students and families as well as use the time of our volunteers and childcare workers responsibly. You may reply to the confirmation text or email, or simply give us a call at (612) 874-7710.

MPS teachers and staff from our Project Success partner schools are eligible to receive up to 2 tickets at no cost to any theater experience of their choosing.
