Middle School Musicals

Project Success works hand-in-hand with three Minneapolis Public Schools to produce and perform their annual middle school musical. Each year, 6th-8th grade students at each of these schools are encouraged to audition or join the tech crew. • Sanford Middle School – Fall
• Northeast Middle School – Winter
• Anwatin Middle School – Spring

Theater experiences create a springboard for discussion, inviting risk-taking and possibility. Participating in a staged production gives students a window into the performing arts, from front of stage to behind the scenes. During the eight-week rehearsal and performance process, students act, dance, and sing with professional artists and work with quality sound, sets, lighting, and costumes. The musical experience helps students build confidence, gain new skills, and learn more about themselves and each other through the power of theater.

Attend a Performance

We invite you to attend our middle school musicals! Each production has two public performances. General admission tickets for all shows will be available at the school the night of each performance. There are no advance ticket sales or reservations. Tickets are pay what you can with a suggested donation of $5.00 (cash or check). Come watch Project Success middle school students shine on stage!
