Born and raised in the “Magic City” of Minot, ND, Katie earned her degree from Minot State University with a double major in Theater Arts and Vocal Performance. As a life-long theater participant, she has held many roles both onstage and backstage including actor, stage manager, and choreographer. Katie has worked for and collaborated with organizations such as the Guthrie Theater, Children’s Theatre Company, Minnesota Orchestra, Bedlam Theatre, Pillsbury House Theatre, Minnesota Fringe, and the collaborative duo E/D. A frequent choreographer for Minot State Summer Theatre, her most recent choreography credits include Something Rotten, 9 to 5, Big Fish, Seussical, and Oklahoma!. In her free time, Katie enjoys dancing, music, seeing live performance, spending time outside, and finding the best vegan eats the Twin Cities has to offer.
