The Best Buy Teen Tech Center (BBTTC) is a FREE technology-based workspace at the Project Success headquarters that gives youth access to cutting-edge technology and software to create and express themselves while learning vital skills. Our dedicated mentors and staff are here to provide an interest-driven, project-based learning experience that gives students the opportunity to dream big and take steps toward making those dreams a reality.

Career Pathways

Explore your interests in the media arts (filmmaking, video editing, photography, etc.) and build career skills and community through Multimedia Arts Career Pathways, a weekly college and career readiness program at Project Success. Students will get a free membership to the Best Buy Teen Tech Center at Project Success where they will learn from working professionals in fields, such as filmmaking and photography, and build skills through fun, hands-on projects.

Students who participate get paid monthly, and upon completing the program could earn a paid summer internship with Best Buy and other businesses that suit individual interests and goals!

This program meets Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30pm from November 10th, 2026 through May 18th, 2027 at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center at Project Success.

Enrollment is available for teens 16-19 years of age or teens born before 6/13/2011. Members who successfully complete the program are eligible to apply for paid summer internship opportunities

The main entrance is on the parking lot side of 1 Groveland Terrace, take the elevator down one level and the Best Buy Teen Tech Center is straight ahead! You will be asked to sign in or register on a tablet at the door and the tech center is free to explore!

Yes – The BBTTC is more fun with a friend! We will need them to fill out a registration form as well. The Best Buy Teen Tech Center is open to anyone grades 8-12 during drop-in hours

No – while some equipment may be used outside of the tech center and returned at the end of the drop-in hours, it is not available to be checked out and brought home. 

The BBTTC is a shared space where students from grades 6 to 12 hang out and learn. That means everything you view online, share, or show should be school-appropriate for all ages.

🚫 Students are not allowed to view or show anything that could be hurtful, inappropriate, or disturbing for anyone. This includes anything graphic or offensive, especially in places where minors might be nearby.

Of course! We have wifi, workspace and noise canceling headphones if needed.

Registration in advance is not required but it does help us make sure we have staff and volunteers when and where they are needed as well as plan transportation – if you don’t register online you’ll be asked to fill out the registration form when you arrive (including a parent’s signature).

Yes you can – any technology brought from home is expected to follow the BBTTC rules on internet content.

Yes! We have VR headsets with games and exploration apps, PC games and a PlayStation 5 with a selection of single-player and multi-player games.

Our students tell us that the snacks we provide are a big part of what they love about the Institute! We work hard to meet all dietary restrictions. When you register, please indicate any dietary restrictions you may have.

Where does the bus pick me up?

Does the bus take me home after class?
Yes! If you need to be dropped off somewhere else, our Program Manager will be in touch with you to help make plans.

Can I get picked up from home?
If you are not able to be picked up at school, our Program Manager will be in touch with you to help make plans.

What kind of vehicle is it?
Most of our rides are provided by our friends at NewTrax. They will arrive in a small white bus with orange or green trim. We will let you know if you should be looking for anything different.
