Born and raised in Minneapolis, Elie grew up with Project Success. From being cast as Jojo in Seussical in middle school, to monthly Project Success workshops and joining the first global expedition to London to promote King Lear with the Guthrie. She went on to graduate from St. Olaf College to explore her love of science and the interworking’s of the human body to graduate with a B.A. in Chemistry. Since graduating she has found herself immersed in the outdoors non-profit world working as a camp director for the American Diabetes Association, a trail counselor for Camp St. Croix leading sailing, canoeing, and climbing trips, as well as a nature preschool teacher in both Wisconsin and Seattle, Washington. Since returning to Minneapolis, Elie is ecstatic to begin work with Project Success to provide expedition experiences to the newest generation of Minneapolis students.
