Welcoming New Staff in the 2019-20 School Year!

Project Success welcomed six new members to our team this August (including two Project Success alumni), bringing the total number of staff on the Project Success team to 37. Adding these talented individuals has been a crucial part of broadening our reach to 23 schools ⁠— with four new middle schools and 2,300 students added this year ⁠— and serving a total of 15,000 students.

We are pleased to introduce you to our new staff:

Facilitators

Andy Lupinek

Andy is a Minnesota-grown artist and educator with experience in theater and dance performance since he was 5 years old. Inspired by the power and impact that art has in initiating conversation and promoting positive change, Andy studied heavily under Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed techniques, graduating with a degree in Theater and with minors in Arts Administration and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2017. Andy is beyond excited to be joining the “dream team” at Project Success and connecting with young people to hear what excites them about their futures. Read more about Andy.


Kosey Mitchell

Kosey is a native of Eugene, Oregon and a 2019 graduate from St. Olaf College with a degree in Social Work. While at St. Olaf, he was involved in the SSS Trio program as well as the football team. He also spent time working with youth, as a proud faculty member of Learningworks: A Breakthrough Program during the summer as well as a flag football coach in Northfield. In his free time, Kosey loves to cook and play basketball. You can also catch him cheering on the Oregon Ducks! Read more about Kosey.


Kyle Munshower

Kyle is an alumnus of Southwest High School and Project Success, and feels great joy to be joining the Facilitator team. Kyle graduated from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University with a degree in English and a minor in Environmental Studies. Since 2011, Kyle has held leadership positions at Camp Dudley in upstate New York, the oldest summer camp for boys in the United States. Kyle has most recently completed a year of volunteer service in Rome, Italy through the Saint John’s Abbey Benedictine Volunteer Corps. Read more about Kyle.


Rachel Linnemann

Rachel graduated from Michigan State University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in History, Philosophy, and Sociology of Science. Throughout college, she discovered a passion for education and working with young people through various student and volunteer organizations. After graduating, she moved to the Twin Cities to serve two years of AmeriCorps with the college access program, College Possible. Rachel is incredibly excited to work with Project Success, and continue building relationships with students, school staff, community partners, and the entire Project Success team! Program Coordinators

Christopher Vang

Christopher is an alumnus of Patrick Henry High School and Project Success. Christopher has also worked with youth at a nonprofit organization called YouthCARE. Christopher has a background of teaching youth basic survival skills, working together as a team and overcoming boundaries. He is extremely excited to be a part of Project Success team in guiding students to achieve greatness. Read more about Christopher.


Mitch Vosejpka

Mitch attended Saint Paul College to study American Sign Language and there discovered his love for working with youth. After graduating with an Associates of Arts degree, he transferred to Metropolitan State University where he received a Bachelor’s in Youth Therapy and Guidance through Theatre. Much of his time before Project Success was spent working with Pillsbury House + Theater where he facilitated and coordinated the youth and activities in the after school program.
