Facilitators
80% of a faciliator’s time is spent in the schools with the students we serve.
Project Success Facilitators are recruited, hired, and trained to implement the Project Success curriculum and facilitate program activities with the students we serve. During the school year, 80% of their time is spent in the schools – facilitating our goal-setting workshops in the English/Language Arts classrooms, meeting one-on-one with students, and working with their English teacher partners.
Outside of facilitating in-class Workshops, Facilitators participate in our Arts, Expeditions, and Institute programs to continue building strong relationships with their students and supporting their future plans. These include accompanying their students on field trips, college tours, BWCA trips, and more!
They develop long-term relationships with students, help them ignite success from within, express their voices, and provide them with many unique and meaningful experiences – all without judgment. They are there to listen, to encourage, to lend support, and to suggest practical steps toward reaching each student’s goals. Some of our facilitators have worked with the same students from middle school through to high school graduation.
