Theater experiences create a springboard for discussion, inviting risk-taking and possibility. They are made possible thanks to the generosity of our 50+ Twin Cities theater partners, who donate tickets and help us coordinate trips to the theater for students, families, and teachers. Our team coordinates with volunteer theater drivers and childcare workers to help make evening and weekend theater experiences accessible to families.
Project Success offers three types of theater experiences:
- Field Trips – Coordinated with our schools, students attend live, professional performances during the school day.
- Artist Residences – Students participate in facilitated in-class artist residencies with a variety of our theater partners to help make seeing a show or engaging with a play even more impactful.
- Evening & Weekend Theater – PS students and their families receive free access to professional performances after school and on weekends.
