WE’RE BACK IN PERSON! PS Ramps up for School Open Houses and Return to In-Person Workshops

This week our Project Success team is back in action welcoming students to their respective MPS schools attending more than 20 open houses across the city. This upcoming school year we’ll be serving 15,000 6th -12th grade students. PS will be a constant source of support in our students and families lives this year, as thousands of students in the district move to newly assigned schools through MPS’ Comprehensive District Design (CDD). Regardless of which school students shift to this year in the district, they will be welcomed by our PS team in their classroom workshops and through our other PS programming opportunities highlighted below.  

We have learned over the years that the success of our program relies on our understanding, trust, and our relationships with our students. As we enter another era of change for many students, they are able to rely on their PS facilitators to be there to support them and help them heal and move forward after a challenging past year.  

The school open houses provide a wonderful opportunity for connection and renewed energy as we get a chance to engage directly with students and families face-to-face as we head back into a new school year full of unknowns. Our team is excited to be back in the classroom in person with students starting in October.

PS will also be bringing back some of our experience learning opportunities to help our students take action on their dreams from the classroom, into the world! This fall, students will experience Outdoor Adventures, College Tours, Institute Certificate Programs,  Theater Experiences and more.
