PS Teacher Appreciation Night at the MN Twins Game

August 31, 2021

Project Success took 300 MPS teachers, staff and family to the ball game last Friday in partnership with the Minnesota Twins! This was our annual Teacher Appreciation Night. It was a fun evening that provided a chance for us to connect with our fabulous MPS partners and for them to reconnect with each other, as we begin this exciting new school year and return to in-person schooling and our classroom workshops.

We were thrilled to be able to gather in person and celebrate our amazing principals, teachers and school staff at a beautiful outdoor experience at Target Field. Attendees enjoyed a reception with our PS Facilitators at Minnie and Paul’s Balcony Deck overlooking center field, baseball bingo with prizes, and food vouchers for stadium goodies. Magically the rain held off that night and the Twins won!

Over the years we’ve heard from teachers about how much they enjoy these special annual appreciation nights that Project Success has made a tradition, and that continued this year with several notes in our inbox, including this message from a long-time teacher at South High:

“A word of thanks for the wonderful evening. My wife and I treasure these outings that Project Success has provided over the years.”

As we start the school year, this evening last week was a great way to celebrate the synergy of our work together.

A special thanks to the Minnesota Twins for our long-standing partnership to support our work with thousands of Minneapolis students and families and their educators.
