Welcome to Our New Staff and School Partners!

February 21, 2018

Students from one of our new partner schools, Wellstone International High School, were among the group of students we brought on college tours to Boston University and Harvard University in fall 2017.

Project Success has added new members to our fantastic team this school year. Our new staff will support us in our current programming, as well as our 2017-18 expansion into two new Minneapolis Public Schools: Andersen United Community School and Wellstone International High School!

We are pleased to introduce you to our new staff:

Sam Krogstad
Facilitator, Andersen United Community School and Wellstone International High School
Sam is a first generation college graduate, hailing from St. Paul, MN. She completed her Bachelor of Arts from the University of St. Thomas with a double major in Spanish Linguistics and Justice and Peace Studies, with a minor in American Cultural studies, and is fluent in Spanish. Due to her profound interest for immigrant rights, she chose to study abroad in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. She is a proud alumni the Centers for Global Education and Experience (Augsburg University) study abroad program, Migration and Globalization: Engaging in Our Communities. Read more about Sam.

John Stark
Program Operations Manager, Musicals
John graduated from Macalester College in 2016 with a B.A. in theater and a minor in dance. During his time at Macalester, John worked for the college’s Civic Engagement Center as the Art for Social Change Coordinator, where he connected Macalester volunteers with local art-focused nonprofit organizations. With experience on stage, backstage, and “around stage,” John is a strong believer in the life-changing power of musical theater and the amazing outcomes students can reach when they dream, plan, and succeed. Read more about John.
