Patrick Henry at Medtronic SEED Day

On October 5, we were thrilled to bring a group of 36 female students from Patrick Henry High School to Medtronic to learn more about engineering from female engineers and scientists! This is part of a new partnership with Medtronic for their Student Employer Exploration Day (SEED) to provide opportunities to explore STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) careers.
The students had a fantastic day enjoying a hands-on experience at the company’s SEED Day. They toured facilities, learned about product lifecycles, and were able to connect one-on-one with female engineers and scientists to learn more about STEM professions. We love seeing our students explore new paths and dream about their futures!
