Miranda is thrilled to be a newcomer to the Twin Cities. Prior to making the move, Miranda graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, where she studied education, history, and race in the U.S. Growing up in Des Moines, Iowa, Miranda developed a passion for performing arts of all kinds. During high school, Miranda enjoyed dance, theater, both onstage and behind the scenes, as well as playing the saxophone and piano. While in college, she continued to pursue the arts as well as opportunities to engage with youth. One formative experience was serving as Executive Director of Women and Youth Supporting Each Other, an organization which empowers middle school girls to make life decisions confidently. Miranda is passionate about connecting students with exciting future pursuits and could not be happier to continue that important work with Project Success. In her free time, Miranda loves biking, dance of all kinds, accompanying herself on the piano, and catching up with loved ones.
