Khary Jackson is a writer, dancer, musician and youth worker. Originally from Detroit, he has worked in the Twin Cities since 2004. He has written a dozen plays, along with one screenplay, and released his first poetry book (2013). He’s currently working on a superhero fiction series, and conceptualizing a hip-hop/blues band project. Khary is excited to work with Project Success to inspire young people to seek the dreams they desire most.

Seeing a staged reading of a short play I wrote, with the actors so invested it felt like a professional production (after only 30 min of rehearsal) 😀

I’ve never been to a hot spring.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation. Visiting my family/friends would be so inexpensive…

Dr. Skoog, choir instructor from college
What you wanted to be when you grew up:
A famous actor, a professional wrestler, and a magician. (So the same thing, maybe?)
