The Notebook – The Musical

Based on the best-selling novel that inspired the iconic film, The Notebook tells the story of Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, who share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. “Full of butterfly-inducing highs and beautiful songs” (Entertainment Weekly), The Notebook is a deeply moving portrait of the enduring power of love.

Contains mature themes such as memory loss, as well as moments of sexual intimacy. This performance is recommended for ages 14 and older. 

Themes

This is a love story that has a lot of ups and downs, over the course of many years. One of the main challenges the characters face is how to make their own choices, despite the expectations of others. What are expectations that others have of you? Do you feel that they are fair expectations, or do you want those expectations to change? 

Accessibility

Many performance venues offer accessibility accommodations such as wheelchair seating, assistive listening, sensory ear plugs, ASL interpretation, open captioning, or audio description, among other options. These accommodations are specific to each event, and may not be available everywhere. Transportation
