From the creator of Hamilton comes In the Heights, a Tony Award-winning celebration of family, ambition, and home. This heartwarming story follows a vibrant neighborhood at a crossroads, capturing the journeys of a shop owner honoring the past, a daughter navigating Ivy League pressures, and a father sacrificing for his child’s future. Their world comes alive through exhilarating choreography and an infectious score that seamlessly blends traditional musical theater with modern rhythms.

- This show was created out of love for Washington Heights, a multi-cultural community in New York City. If you were to write a show about a community you love, what community might you choose? And would it be a musical, or a play without music?
- Usnavi, the main character, is struggling to decide what place feels the most like home to him. What place(s) feel like home to you? What (or who) helps you to feel a sense of home and belonging?
