Themes

Justices Burger and Blackmun were childhood friends before becoming Supreme Court justices. Their conflicting viewpoints on the court brought tension to their friendship. In your friendships, are there particular situations where the relationship feels less positive or secure? If so, what might you say or do to maintain the friendship?
