Beyond the Point of Knowing

Threads Dance Project’s Fall Show, Beyond the Point of Knowing, explores the challenges of never knowing what comes next, what will change, or where we’ll be tomorrow. The premiere work draws from Continental Drift Theory, highlighting the slow, imperceptible changes that shaped and continue to shape the earth. Recognizing that small movements – tectonic shifts, idea shifts, social uprisings – can lead to major planetary and societal changes.  

Artistic Director Karen L. Charles collaborates with glass artist Anna Lehner to connect physical and social transformation via glass blowing, movement, and Continental Drift Theory, posing the question: how can faith and hope help us accept what lies beyond our current understanding?

Accessibility

Transportation
