Do you have a passion for helping others? Are you interested learning about different careers within a medical device company? Join us as we dive into the career opportunities you can have at a world-renowned medical device company like Boston Scientific. We will explore the teamwork it takes across varying disciplines to create medical devices.
During your site visit, you will have the opportunity to meet a variety of engineers, manufacturers, administrators, and other employees at Boston Scientific. You will also learn about the experiences that led each person to their role as well as the strengths they use in their job to improve the lives of our patients. We look forward to hosting students and talking about the work we do every day to pursue our mission to “transform lives through innovative medical solutions that improve the health of patients around the world.”

On this tour students will:
- Tour the Boston Scientific Maple Grove site
- Get hands-on experiences like deploying medical devices inside of anatomical models
- Build and program a circuit board with electrical engineers
- Explore the manufacturing lines where medical devices are built
- Meet with the fitness trainers at Boston Scientific
- Sit down with Boston Scientific employees, ask questions and hear about their journey on their current career path
Getting to the Tour
All tours start at the Project Success office located at 1 Groveland Terrace, Minneapolis, MN 55403.
You can:
- Get dropped off at the PS office
- Take a city bus to the PS office
- Use a PS shuttle from select schools – haga clic aquí for more information
PS shuttle pick-up times:
- Camden HS (Front Entrance on Newton Ave.) – 7:30 am
- North HS (Main Entrance on James Ave.) – 7:45 am
- Edison HS (Main Entrance on 22nd Ave. NE) – 7:45 am
- South HS (32nd St Side by Door #1) – 7:45 am
- Washburn HS (49th St Side by Door #3) – 7:30 am
A PS staff member will be at each stop 15 minutes early to help and ride with you. Shuttles may be a school bus, coach, small van, or driven by PS staff.
Food
- We provide lunch and snacks.
- We try to meet dietary needs – but feel free to bring your own food if needed.
What to Bring/Wear
- Comfortable walking shoes – we walk a lot!
- Check the weather and dress for the day.
- Suggested items:
- Water bottle
- Small bag
- Notebook & pencil
- Extra snacks
