DELUXE launches ARENA Dances’ 31st Season with an evening of bold contemporary dance that celebrates artistic collaboration, innovation, and the power of live performance.
The program features four compelling works that showcase the breadth of dance:
One Room – An evocative remount of an excerpt from Executive Director Mathew Janczewski’s repertory. An acclaimed trio, set to the music of Nils Frahm.
World Premiere – A newly commissioned quartet by acclaimed New York choreographer Elinor Kleber-Diggs, created during her residency with ARENA DANCES.
Fishscale – The return of Shane Larson’s audience-favorite work from Spring, celebrated for its striking physicality and dynamic movement.
Deluxe Edition – A landmark work by visionary Minnesota choreographer Morgan Thorson, offering audiences the opportunity to experience one of the state’s most influential dance artists.
Together, these works celebrate the richness of dance through diverse artistic voices, balancing beloved repertory with bold new creation. DELUXE is an invitation to experience movement that is physically exhilarating, emotionally resonant, and deeply human.
