Josh McHenry

Josh was born and raised in the Twin Cities. With his parents being ballroom dancers he was immersed in music and dance from a young age, fostering a love and appreciation for the arts. Throughout High School Josh participated in different youth groups working with local charities, leading to an opportunity to organize a trip to Sri Lanka after a major tsunami to work and build relationships with kids within the community. He went on to study Communications and Sociology at UW-Eau Claire, during which he discovered his passion for martial arts and the capacity it can have as a vehicle for personal development. Moving back to the Twin Cities, Josh studied copywriting in Minneapolis and began working with a small startup company. Empowering youth and helping them achieve their goals has been a dream of Josh’s and he could not be happier to be a part of such an incredible organization like Project Success. In his free time, Josh loves training and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, playing music, and reading philosophy.
