Camerons journey into youth work began with a simple truth: the right adult at the right time can change everything. Throughout his childhood, key adults showed up to remind him that he matters, that his life has purpose, and that being exactly who he is—is something to be proud of. Inspired to pass that same encouragement forward, Cameron began volunteering at a youth outreach organization in Atlanta, GA in 2008. That experience led to an internship and launched a 15+ year career dedicated to supporting and empowering young people.
Over the years, Cameron has brought his passion and insight to schools, youth-focused nonprofits, theaters, faith communities, and other spaces where young people gather and grow. In 2025, moved by the mission and impact of Project Success, he joined the team as a facilitator.
Cameron loves working with youth because he believes every young person deserves the chance to explore how far their curiosity, creativity, convictions, and individuality can take them and he’s committed to being part of that journey.
Outside of his work with Project Success, Cameron is pursuing a doctorate in transformative leadership. When he’s not working or studying, you’ll find him exploring the outdoors with his family, practicing martial arts, dancing, or eating moose tracks ice cream.
