Project Success’s 22nd Annual Fielding Dreams with the Minnesota Twins

For 22 years, Fielding Dreams has brought together students, families, supporters, and community partners for a night of baseball and celebrating the extensive Project Success community. On May 15, Project Success partnered once again with the Minnesota Twins to bring more than 1,700 Project Success students and family members to attend a game at Target Field.

Before the game students from Andersen Middle School’s production of Diary of a Wimpy Kid got the opportunity to perform a pregame song on home plate, and a Project Success student threw out the ceremonial first pitch to retiring board member Charlie Montreuil. Later in the game, our students led the ballpark with a spirited rendition of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the 7th inning stretch.
The evening also brought together sponsors, board members, and community supporters on the Budweiser Roof Deck for dinner, live music, family activities, and a special Chalk Talk event with Twins General Manager and Executive Vice President Jeremy Zoll.
Over the past 22 years, more than 125 companies have supported Fielding Dreams, helping raise more than $1.3 million to support Project Success programming. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s event possible, especially our sponsors, volunteers, and the Minnesota Twins for continuing to make this event such a meaningful tradition for our students and families.
