Project Success’ 21st Annual Fielding Dreams with the Minnesota Twins

On May 9th, Project Success partnered with the Minnesota Twins to commemorate the 21st year of our annual Fielding Dreams event. This event has evolved into a significant community partnership, with more than 120 companies supporting it over the years. We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming generosity we receive year after year from our donors, who have helped us raise more than $1.2 million dollars to date! These funds have helped Project Success to work with more than 225,000 students and their families to help students connect to their purpose.

This year’s Fielding Dreams event was fun and meaningful for all involved, with more than 1,500 students and their families joining us for the game thanks to the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club’s generous donation of tickets. Students and their families were greeted by Project Success staff members, and got to enjoy a ballpark game on a beautiful Friday night. The game opened with students from Anwatin middle school performing How Far I’ll Go, from their upcoming musical, Disney’s Moana Jr. Tom qab ntawd tus tub ntxhais kawm PS tau pov thawj lub suab! Meanwhile our sponsors and board members were able to enjoy the game on the Budweiser Roof Deck and a variety of activities that included live music, dinner, a photobooth, Twins bingo, our famous Pitch and Catch game, and fun activities for kids. Sponsors also participated in Chalk Talk – a special pre-game event where they received an exclusive behind-the-scenes perspective from the Minnesota Twins President of Baseball Operations, Derek Falvey.
Students, families, community members and sponsors got to enjoy a gripping Twins game against the San Francisco Giants on a beautiful spring Friday night. They also saw PS students lead the 7th inning stretch, and the Twins secure a win at home. We are so thankful for all those who made this evening possible, with a special thanks to our cov neeg txhawb nqa.
