Before and since graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2017, Kinzie has been a fearless supporter for her community here in Minneapolis and abroad. With her degree in Latin America, Latinx, and Caribbean studies and Spanish she was able to take her studies and passion for community outreach to Petatlan, Mexico and all over Peru! Prior to working for Project SUCCESS Kinzie worked for another non-profit focusing on sexual and womens' health. There she worked in a bilingual clinic, assisting Spanish speaking patients with access to quality health care. Kinzie came to love Project SUCCESS as one of their students in South High School, participating in all that this amazing program has to offer. Kinzie’s passion for advocacy, empowering and supporting the diverse community with a special focus on the youth of Minneapolis, has inspired her to come back to Project SUCCESS as a Program Coordinator. In her free time it might be hard to find Kinzie since she loves to travel and explore new food, music, cultures, and languages. If she’s not traveling, Kinzie can be found at the local taco truck eating elote and tacos al pastor or watching live music with friends and family.
