Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Haley graduated from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a B.A in Theater Arts, Child Psychology and Youth Studies. While studying at the U of M, Haley performed in several university theatrical productions, in addition to working with professional companies in the Twin Cities, including the Moving Company and Theater Novi Most. After volunteering for a year in Israel, working with young people from all different backgrounds and abilities, Haley knew that young people were her calling. Through her personalized degree program, Haley has been able to “marry” her two biggest passions: Performing Arts and Youth Work. Haley has continued find that intersection of the arts and education with students from a variety of different backgrounds and abilities through her work with Upstream Arts, Camp Fire MN, and Youth Frontiers.  Haley is so excited to be a part of the Project SUCCEESS team and can’t wait to start building lasting relationships with her students.

Favorite theater experience:

When I was in New York, I went to go see Hair. During the final number, audience members are invited on stage to sing with the cast. As I was on stage, thinking to myself that I had made it to the Broadway Stage…  I look out into the audience and see my biggest childhood celebrity crush sitting in the audience. When the song was over, I ran off of the stage, introduced myself and gave him a hug. In one night, two of my dreams came true, I performed on the Broadway stage and I met my celebrity crush!
