Elisabeth was born and raised in Madison, WI with her two brothers. After high school, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and obtained a degree in Economics with a minor in Psychology and Advertising. During her time at Eau Claire, she studied abroad for a semester in Perth, Australia. She also did many peer-to-peer focused jobs, including being a Study Abroad Peer Advisor, an Economics Mentor and a Writing Assistant. She even was a Director at a student-run TV station. After college, Elisabeth found herself drawn to youth work, and did a year of service as an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow. During this year, she worked with students on the Minnesota Youth Council. These students came from all over the state of Minnesota to advise the legislature on youth-related issues. Besides doing policy work, the students gave grant funds to other youth groups across the state. After her AmeriCorps service, Elisabeth found the position of Program Coordinator at Project SUCCESS and thought it would be a great place to continue serving young people! She is excited to be working with a passionate team of people. Elisabeth enjoys photography, crocheting, watching new TV shows and exploring the city in her free time.
