80% of a faciliator's time is spent in the schools with the students we serve.
Project SUCCESS Facilitators are recruited, hired and trained to implement the Project SUCCESS curriculum and facilitate program activities with the students we serve. During the school year, 80% of their time is spent in the schools - facilitating our goal-setting workshops in the English/Language Arts classrooms, meeting one-on-one with students, and working with their English teacher partners.
Outside the schools, they greet their students and families at theater events, help to facilitate our special programs like school musicals, college tours, and BWCA adventures, and accompany our students on all-school field trips to the theater.
They develop long-term relationships with students, help them find their sparks, express their voices, and provide them with many unique and meaningful experiences – all without judgment. They are there to listen, to encourage, to lend support and to suggest practical steps toward reaching each student’s goals. Some of our facilitators have worked with the same students from middle school through to high school graduation!
