Virtual Institute Certificate Programs

We’re finding creative ways to encourage you to explore new experiences and career paths through the Institute. Here is where you’ll find out how our podcasting, finance, cooking and coding programs have adapted to an online delivery model.

Podcasting

While our Podcasting Certificate is on hiatus, we’ll be making use of our podcast to share student-produced work, audio workshops, and updates on everything Project Success is up to. Be sure to subscribe!

  • Listen to the latest High School Panel, hosted by facilitator Ryan Weldon, who chats with MPS high school students about the transition from middle to high school.
  • Listen to the latest episode of The Link, hosted by facilitator Kyle Munshower, who interviews Minneapolis Public Schools alumni about their post-high school path.
  • Listen to the latest episode of Marc and Micah in the Morning.

Cooking

Become a better home cook in this popular class, which explores moist and dry heat, seasoning, baking, cooking styles in multiple cultures, and seasonal meals. Great for beginners and more experienced cooks. This class is now being taught on YouTube Live! Just follow Project Success on YouTube, and keep an eye on your feed at 6pm on Wednesdays.

Coding

Learn the basics of computer coding, including the beginning steps of CoffeeScript, JavaScript, and Python coding languages. Recommended for beginners, but all are welcome.
