About the Show

Threads will premiere a new work, To Hear like Me, which seeks to bridge the gap between the deaf/hard of hearing community and the hearing community; creating an experience with dance that incorporates American Sign Language, music visualization, and silence within the piece.

Threads will also perform Femthology – a compilation of repertory works examining the experience of being female. Femthology include audience favorites, such as Sacred Feminine and Bootyful, that have been reimagined to be more accessible to the deaf/hard of hearing community.

Children should be 12 years of age or older to attend this performance. Childcare will be provided for those under the age of 12. Please let us know if you need childcare when you make your reservation.
