About the Show

What happens after Happily Ever After, after all? In Sondheim and Lapine’s beloved musical retelling of the Grimm classics, we’re invited to confront our deep desires and fears, and ride alongside familiar fairy tale characters with one of the best scores ever written.

Contains mature themes. Children should be 10 years of age or older to attend this performance. Childcare will be provided for those under the age of 10. Please let us know if you need childcare when you make your reservation.

If you do not have access to a ride, call Project Success and we can provide transportation for you. Please let us know if you need a ride when you make your reservation. We will need at least 2 days’ notice to set up transportation.

  • There are moments when a character desires something so much, they are willing to commit mean or cruel acts to get what they want. How do we know if we’re going too far to get what we want?
  • The original version of our familiar fairy tales emphasized consequences for choices that characters make, and the endings are not always as warm as we’d like. How does that contrast with today’s approach to fairy tales? Why?
