Project Success is proud to once again be partnering with Franklin Middle School upon its reopening in 2015.
Project Success Programs for Franklin Students
PS Outdoor Club: Outside In – Franklin
Enjoying the “outdoors” means many different things to different people. For some it could mean sports, family picnics, gardening, or taking a walk outside your front door. For others it could be “car camping” at state and national parks, back packing, paddling, rock climbing or adventure travel. This club is for everyone, whether you are just beginning to recognize your connection to nature, consider yourself a life-long nature lover or are somewhere in between!
Join Project Success as we share different perspectives and appreciation for the outdoors and the land we inhabit. We will explore the beauty of nature in our own backyards and then take you on a virtual journey to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, covering skills such as wildlife observation, map reading, trip planning, survival tips and more!
DETAILS: This club is FREE and available to all Franklin students. We meet online once a week after school, but we will give students fun challenges for them to explore the outdoors on their own or with their families throughout the week.
WHERE: Outdoor Club Google Classroom with a link for live online club meetings
WHEN: Tuesdays: February 2 – March 30, 2021 from 4:30pm-6pm (No meeting 2/16)
SUPPLIES: Students will receive a drawstring backpack full of fun supplies that they will use for club activities!
