SUMMARY:Pagliacci
DESCRIPTION:The show must go on\, but how?\nFor Canio and his traveling troupe\, painted smiles and colorful costumes belie infidelity and betrayal. The façade is shattered when a hidden affair is revealed and a lighthearted night at the theater gives way to jealousy\, suspicion\, and ultimately violence. As the line between performance and reality blurs and the drama onstage begins to mirror the turmoil offstage\, Pagliacci begs the question—does art imitate life\, or does life imitate art? \n Estimated Run Time: 1 hour 45 minutes with 1 intermission \nSung in Italian with English captions projected above the stage. \nFull plot synopsis is available HERE. \nContent Warnings/Age Recommendations\nAct I of this production includes a representation of an attempted sexual assault. Act II includes a representation of the murder of two characters by gun shots\, witnessed by children\, as well as talk of suicide. Recommended for ages 14 and older with parent/guardian discretion. \nThemes\n\nThis show is about a performance company with serious tension happening behind the scenes. Choices are made between maintaining the appearance of getting along\, or being open about those tensions (as well as publicly acting upon them). This story is a rather extreme example of this dynamic\, but in real life we often make decisions about what we present in public vs what we feel in private. If you had an issue with someone\, when might you decide to make the issue public? When might you handle it privately? And what factors would influence your decision?\n\n\nDirector Brenna Corner writes\, “Our staging is set in the 1970s within a dusty warehouse—a graveyard for forgotten memories. Forty years after the tragedy\, an aged Tonio returns to the troupe’s abandoned crates. Driven by guilt\, he uncovers the old props\, and the story comes to life before him.” Why do you think they chose to place it in a more recent time period? And why do you think they chose to present the story as a memory? How might an event feel different when we look back on it later in life?\n\nAccessibility\nMany performance venues offer accessibility accommodations such as wheelchair seating\, assistive listening\, sensory ear plugs\, ASL interpretation\, open captioning\, or audio description\, among other options. These accommodations are specific to each event\, and may not be available everywhere. When registering with us\, please let us know what accommodations you need and we will follow up with you! \nTransportation\nIf you do not have access to a ride\, call Project Success and we can provide transportation for you. Please let us know if you need a ride when you make your reservation. We will need at least 2 days’ notice to set up transportation.

Fearing his “Rosabella” will reject him\, Tony sends her a photograph of his handsome foreman instead. \nAs her visit approaches\, the stage is set for confusion\, hurt\, and betrayal before finally blooming into love and understanding. This return to a beautiful story marks the revival of TTT’s second-ever musical. \nPlease note: This performance includes FREE dinner shortly before the show begins!\n6:30 pm: Dinner served\n7:00 pm: Showtime \nParking Options:\n\nThere is limited free parking available in the Project Success lot behind the building.\nThere is free street parking available in the neighborhood south of the office. SUMMARY:The Right Thing To Do: The Joe Mauer Story
DESCRIPTION:When doing the right thing is the simplest choice.\nIt wasn’t just baseball practice and talent that shaped Hall of Famer\, Joe Mauer! In fact\, a simple choice set into motion a series of events that would transform not only his life but the lives of those around him. Based on the children’s book of the same name by Joe Schmit\, The Right Thing To Do is a lively and inspiring world-premiere musical that explores the power of small acts of kindness\, the impact of friendship\, and the importance of doing what’s right. With vibrant music\, unforgettable characters\, and a message that resonates beyond the baseball field\, The Right Thing To Do reminds us that every act of kindness\, no matter how small\, has the power to create a ripple effect that transforms our communities and unites us in ways we might never expect. \nRuntime is 60 minutes. \nResource guide available HERE. \nThemes\nIn this story\, there are moments where a character decides whether or not to be honest about a situation. What factors guide your decisions in situations like this? How do you know what the right thing to do is? \nAccessibility\nMany performance venues offer accessibility accommodations such as wheelchair seating\, assistive listening\, sensory ear plugs\, ASL interpretation\, open captioning\, or audio description\, among other options. These accommodations are specific to each event\, and may not be available everywhere. SUMMARY:Tapestries 10.0 - Anniversary Edition
DESCRIPTION:In celebration of the program’s tenth anniversary\, Threads Dance Project presents Tapestries 10.0 – Anniversary Edition. The Tapestries program has become an annual tradition—amplifying new choreographic voices\, with a special emphasis on female-identifying and BIPOC creators. To honor this milestone\, Tapestries 10.0 not only elevates two new emerging choreographers but welcomes back two previous creators from the program’s ten-year run. \nEmerging choreographers Lily Conforti and Brianna Johnson have each created new works for the company. Lily Conforti’s piece\, Big MILK\, is an exploration into and criticism of the US government’s inability to make systemic changes and the ineffective ways that they have thrown cheese at a problem. Brianna Johnson’s\, Deliberate Hold\, is a contemporary modern dance work exploring the profound resilience found in the intentional choice to be present and actively practice connection and care. \nReturning choreographer\, Gabby Abrams will remount her piece\, Release\, after being interrupted by the pandemic—revisiting the work with new eyes and new bodies. Rae Fox-Charles\, a multi-year Tapestries alumni\, will share a new work\, entitled\, Tracings of Traces\, which considers the lingering patterns of attachment and dysfunction throughout an imagined figure’s romantic history. \nContent Warnings/Age Recommendations\nThis performance is recommended for ages 13 and older. \nThemes\nThe dance “Deliberate Hold” focuses on intentional presence and active connection and care. What might it mean to be intentionally present? And how might it look to actively connect with and care for someone else? \nAccessibility\nMany performance venues offer accessibility accommodations such as wheelchair seating\, assistive listening\, sensory ear plugs\, ASL interpretation\, open captioning\, or audio description\, among other options. These accommodations are specific to each event\, and may not be available everywhere. SUMMARY:Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women
DESCRIPTION:Please note: this performance is currently waitlist only. \nA beloved coming-of-age drama\nJo March desperately wants to be a writer — an unusual dream for a teenage girl in 1860s Massachusetts. With her father away during the Civil War\, Jo and sisters Meg\, Beth and Amy\, at home with their mother Marmee\, remain joyful and dutiful despite their modest circumstances. As time passes\, the women in the family grow ever closer as they navigate love\, loss and new beginnings. Yearning for independence\, Jo is emboldened by her sisters to channel her angst into her stories\, eventually finding her place in the world as a published author. This new adaptation of the beloved classic celebrates the wonderful and trying transition from girlhood to adulthood. \nThree things to know: \n\nThis new adaptation by Lauren M. Gunderson puts author Louisa May Alcott at the forefront of the classic tale\, using lines from the original novel to capture the complexity and charm of the characters. \nLouisa May Alcott’s Little Women was co-commissioned by four regional theaters: City Theatre Company\, Northlight Theatre\, People’s Light and TheatreWorks Silicon Valley.  \nDirector Jackson Gay is a freelance director\, a writer and the Co-Producing Artistic Director of New Neighborhood. She currently teaches directing at Brooklyn College.\n\nContent Warnings/Age Recommendations\nContains mature themes including illness\, death and mention of the Civil War. This performance is recommended for ages 10 and older with parent/guardian discretion. \nThemes\nThis version of the show places the real-life author\, Louisa May Alcott\, into the forefront. We imagine Alcott’s process\, through creative writing\, of sharing the people she loves most with the rest of the world. If you were to write a story about people in your life that you love and appreciate\, who would you include? What would you want the readers/audience to know about them? \nAccessibility\nMany performance venues offer accessibility accommodations such as wheelchair seating\, assistive listening\, sensory ear plugs\, ASL interpretation\, open captioning\, or audio description\, among other options.
These accommodations are specific to each event\, and may not be available everywhere.
