DESCRIPTION:David Attenborough meets Laurie Anderson in The MOTH PROJECT\, a new production from Peter Kiesewalter\, GRAMMY-nominated and EMMY-winning creator of the East Village Opera Company (“Highbrow and brilliant!” – New York Magazine). Blending music\, family history\, and moth lore\, The MOTH PROJECT brings art and science together in entirely original and unexpected ways.\n\n\nThe 70 minute show features two musicians performing a genre-defying range of music – from Bach to Joni Mitchell to KISS to original songs – while a stunningly integrated visual tour of images are projected onto them\, enveloping them into a strange and remarkable world. Between songs\, a narrative arc traces the parallel journeys of a moth’s life cycle and one family’s migration to North America.\n\n“This is storytelling lifted to the stars – a magical\, mystical event that will leave you with awe-inspiring wonder!” – Front Row Center NYC\, April 2024 \nRun time subject to change.
