30 Virtual College Tours & Counting

While we can’t tour college campuses in person, Project Success continues to encourage students to dream and explore their post-secondary school options. Via our virtual College Tours and Multi-College Student Panels, students are able to expand their college search this year in innovative ways. Since March, students have been able to ask questions directly to deans, admissions counselors, and college students from universities and technical colleges across the country within the comfort and safety of their homes via zoom chats and with Project Success facilitators. Another advantage of the virtual tours is students can access the 30+ college tour videos and assets on the Project Success website whenever it works for them.
“I’m so grateful for all the amazing opportunities we’ve had to connect with colleges across the country. It’s exciting to hear students get all their questions answered and make connections to develop their post-secondary plans, the next big adventure after high school. And following one of our sessions an admissions rep shared that our students had some of the most prepared and insightful questions he had ever heard, and that just speaks to how much hard work and critical thinking our students do to dream and plan about their futures,” noted Kiah Christenson, our College and Career Tours Program Manager.
In addition to virtual college tours, students can now tune into the Project Success podcast series: ‘College Conversations’ available on Spotify and Apple Podcast. In these episodes we connect with college counselors, alumni, current college students and high school students who share their insight, experience, and advice on important post-secondary related topics. Episodes topics range from self-advocacy to being a first-generation student and more! All to help students dive deep into their decision-making process and think critically about what comes next after high school.
While many things look different this year, Project Success remains dedicated to our students and assisting them in every way we possibly can for them to achieve their dreams.
