Adrienne Diercks receives WEM Foundation’s 2019 Excellence in Education Award

Honoring educators, supporting futures

On a sunny Saturday in May, Adrienne Diercks was honored to receive the WEM Foundation’s 2019 Excellence in Education Award, as part of a program that recognizes K-12 teachers and community members helping young people ignite their potential through education.

“At the WEM Foundation, we believe there are many unsung heroes working in the education system, including teachers, coaches, nonprofit leaders and others. Our annual awards program, which began in 1998, honors their efforts and commitment to developing our youth,” noted Jim Hield, President of the WEM Foundation. “Adrienne Diercks is one of these heroes, and we believe her tireless work through Project Success is helping students believe in their potential and achieve their dreams for the future. That’s why we wanted to recognize her for 25 years of service and also support Project Success’ expansion campaign.”
