What You Need to Know
Tina Fey’s Mean Girls is a musical packed with unforgettable songs and sharp comedy. Follow Cady Heron as she navigates high school drama, friendship, and the infamous Plastics. Full of laughs, heart, and empowering moments, Mean Girls is the perfect fun-filled night at the theater. Adapted from Fey’s hit 2004 film, Mean Girls was nominated for a staggering 12 Tony Awards.  This show took Broadway by storm and has since joined the musical in-crowd.  

Based on the Paramount Pictures film Mean Girls, Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a “Revenge Party” to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a queen bee without getting stung.

This two-time Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning treat is packed with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of four), an onstage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance!

  • Dive into the basics of set construction and put those skills to the test by helping build the set for Merely Players Community Theatre’s production of A Christmas Carol.

  • Learn the basic skills related to scenic painting techniques and use these skills to paint the set of A Christmas Carol!
