COVID-19 Response

Please take a few moments to watch this message from executive director Adrienne Diercks regarding COVID-19.

With the ongoing spread of the coronavirus COVID-19, the safety and well-being of our students, families, staff and community continues to be our top priority. We are continuously monitoring the news and looking to the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), World Health Organization (WHO), Minneapolis Public School district (MPS), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for information and guidance. We also reject the xenophobia and racism that have emerged in discourse around COVID-19 and are treating it as the public health concern it is.

In adherence with the Governor’s Stay Safe MN Executive Order, our office will continue to be closed for the foreseeable future to prevent the spread of the disease among our staff and in our facilities. We have suspended all in-person Project Success activities with students and families in and outside of school, and have moved to helping our students connect to their purpose in virtual ways during the Distance Learning period through the end of the 2019-2020 school year. We are planning how to best move forward with our in-person Project Success activities for the 2020-2021 school year by considering a number of different scenarios based on school and partner status in the fall.

We continue to keep our families informed of any necessary changes to PS programming. We have updated our program web pages to share which specific programs have been canceled due to COVID-19. If you were registered for any upcoming programming offered by PS and have additional questions or concerns, please call 612-874-7710.
