Anwatin Musical
Since 2000, Project Success has worked hand-in-hand with Anwatin Middle School students to produce and perform their annual school musical.
The Lion King, the 2019 annual production presented by Project Success and Anwatin Middle School, took the stage in June with a cast and crew of more than 50 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. Learn more about the production:
About the Anwatin Musical
In partnership with Anwatin Middle School, Project Success has produced yearly school musicals since 2000. Production have included: Annie, Beauty and the Beast,
Shrek, The Wiz, Charlie Brown, High School Musical, and The Lion King.
Each year, up to 90 students work in front of and behind the scenes. For eight weeks, students act, dance, and sing with professional artists and work with quality sound, sets, lighting, and costumes.
In rehearsal, students work closely with local artist educators. The musical experience helps students build confidence, gain new experiences, and learn more about themselves and each other through the power of theater.
Every spring, parents, teachers, students, district leaders and community members pack the house for performances. Afterwards, audiences are left inspired, entertained, and impressed by the talents and efforts put forth by each performer and crew member.
