After spending most of her adult life in Seattle, WA, Chelsea moved back home to Minnesota in July of 2020 and is so happy to be here! She is a graduate of the University of Washington’s Comparative History of Ideas (CHID) program. Her studies focused on cultural and historical engagements, indigenous knowledge systems, and power and difference in race, class, and gender. She also is a recovering small business/bakery owner and has plentiful experience in business administration and client relations.

Over the years, she has loved volunteering with youth and families at Seattle Girls’ School, Roxhill Elementary School, and Treehouse for Kids. She is looking forward to working with schools, youth, and families served by Project Success to help ensure they get the most they can from our organization.

In her free time, she enjoys reading (currently reading There There, Tommy Orange), knitting, spoiling her dog Phil, working on an ever-growing vegetable garden, attempting to defeat her husband at chess, and exploring neighborhoods in her new home of St Paul.
