Project Success Certificates
For decades, PS has focused on offering students post-secondary opportunities via tours to colleges and universities, including trade schools and 2-year programs. Our new certificate programs, which take place in the Project Success Institute, provide students with an even deeper dive into the professional and life skills that will take them through the rest of their lives.
Certificates in computer coding, financial literacy, performing arts and wellness ignite possibilities for students and prepare them for life after high school. These 10-week courses give students dedicated time outside of school hours on evenings and weekends to explore potential career paths and build skills that will allow them to enter the workforce after graduation with confidence. They culminate in a certification from Project Success which students can use to boost their college applications and resumes.
As with all Project Success programming, we work diligently to break down barriers to access for students in our Certificate and Institute programs through:
- Transportation: Providing access to transportation to and from our programming for those who need it.
- Access and Availability: Bringing introductory programming to our partner schools, giving students an easily accessible point-of-entry for topics that might be new to them.
- Individualized Curriculum: Building curriculum that is tailored to each individual student, mindful of their abilities, spoken languages and more.
- Free Programs: We offer our programming free of cost to students and their families.
“Project Success helped me develop new skills and life tools like communication, making connections and networking. I am the positive, outgoing, challenge-ready individual I am today because of the traits and lessons PS instilled in me.”
