Welcome to the Project SUCCESS Washburn High School page!

Hello students, staff and parents of Washburn High School.

Happy New School Year Everyone!

We are so thankful and excited to be a part of the Washburn community. It’s going to be a great year! This is our first year at Washburn and we couldn't be more thrilled! We are passionate as ever about inspiring students to imagine the possibilities for their lives, and then to take action towards making those possibilities a reality.

My name is Naheeda and I am the Project SUCCESS facilitator at Washburn. I get to see all the 9th and 10th graders, once a month in your English classes. We will use this time to look at those things that you want for yourself and your future. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you this year, I know you all bring so many incredible experiences and so much potential. I have some fun activities planned. Here are some hints of what to look forward to…

9th grade – Paper Airplanes, Jeopardy, and Performing

10th Grade – Legos, Survivor, Mixed Blood’s production of 1001

We’ll also be talking about the FREE theatre opportunities! Yes, I said FREE.

Keep a lookout for invites in the mail for you and your family. You will receive 6-8 invites this year. I hope to see you all at a couple of theatre events.

I sincerely look forward to seeing you soon!

Please feel free to email me with any questions or just to say hey.
