Welcome Jefferson Middle Schoolers and Families

My name is Ricardo McCurley and I will be the Project SUCCESS facilitator at Jefferson. Starting in February, I will come into your Humanities classes once a month and we'll talk, draw, play games and act about your dreams and goals! For you 6th graders, we'll start by playing a game called Magic Cup where we use the power inside all of us to change something from ordinary to EXTRAORDINARY! 7th graders get to start by learning how to set a goal and making steps to reach that goal. Project SUCCESS teaches this by making Paper Airplanes. Finally, for you 8th graders, our February workshop asks the question, "how much is your future worth to you?" We will be holding an Auction, but in this mock auction you will be bidding on opportunities for the future.

Our New Partnership

Project SUCCESS is so excited to announce our brand new partnership with Jefferson Middle School.

At Jefferson Middle School, Project SUCCESS offers the following programming:

-In-class, goal-setting workshops;

-Opportunities for each student and their family to attend between four and eight free theater performances at 26 area theaters; and

-All-school field trips.
