Greetings Jefferson,

I am so glad to be starting another year with such gifted and energetic young people.  Monthly workshops are a great time for students to explore possibilities and express their own voice.  I am grateful to have had the opportunity to build so many relationships with students and staff last year, and I think that this year has beautiful things in store for us.  Along with the wonderful work we do in class, please check out the great shows we have for Jefferson students and families this year.  And remember the “three frees” – free tickets, free childcare, and free transportation!  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at harleighg@projectsuccess.org or 612-876-3918.

Project SUCCESS is proud to be serving Jefferson Middle School since 2008. 

At Jefferson Middle School, Project SUCCESS offers the following programming to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students:

• in-class, goal-setting workshops;
• opportunities for each student and their family to attend at least eight free theater performances at 32 area theaters;
• trips to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness; and
• all-school field trips.

• Nativel Language Literacy site-Spanish
• Student awards programs for special achievements
• Monthly family nights with dinner
• Composting/recycling site
• Intermediate students attend a weeklong seminar at Star Base which supports their science, technology, engineering and math content areas
