Hello Hazel Park students and welcome to your first year of Project SUCCESS! My name is Ginny and I will be working with you this school year on how to set goals and dream big for yourself. I have an exciting year planned and look forward to meeting you and talking about your plans and dreams for the future. Since Hazel Park is a new school for our organization, I look forward to learning more about your school and becoming a member of the Hazel Park community. Workshops are only once a month, so I encourage you to check our website to read all the exciting things happening in the schools and theaters around the Twin Cities. This is going to be a great year!
Here are just a few of the exciting things to come:
7th Grade – Goals
The activities and workshops designed for you this year center around goal setting and taking the necessary steps to achieve those goals. This can be anything from passing all your classes this fall to becoming a professional athlete. The sky is the limit! Also, be on the lookout for fun ways of getting the most out of theater experiences and what it really means to dream big.
8th Grade – Transitions
Activities and workshops in the 8th grade focus on making transitions and how you choose to handle and grow during those moments. We’ll talk about who you are now and who you hope to be in the future. We’ll talk about values and how those values guide you throughout your life. And we will definitely talk about high school and what it takes to have a successful high school career.
