Welcome to the Project SUCCESS Anwatin Middle School page!
Hello studetns, staff and parents of Anwatin Middle School.
  If you haven't met me yet, I am Jason and I am your Project SUCCESS Facilitator at Anwatin Middle School. I had a great time last year working with Naheeda getting to know all of you and I am very thankful to work with the super 7th graders and the excellent 8th graders! I will be joined this year by Peirangelo, who will be working with the 6th graders and the students of the SPAN program, as well as helping me out with the 7th and 8th grade.
We have some great activities planned and we hope is that you will have a chance to explore your dreams and be inspired to take action. Here's a couple of hints about what to look forward to:
6th Graders – Magic Cup, Support Dance and Community Building
7th Graders - Paper Airplanes, Legos, and some Acting
8th Graders - an Auction, Jeopardy, and Performing
SPAN – Paper Airplanes, Legos and Community Building.
As always we also have some wonderful theatre to invite you to...keep a lookout for invites in the mail. We'll also talk more about the Spring Musical and the Summer Boundary Waters Canoe Adventure. Be prepared for a fun year.

Our Partnership
Project SUCCESS is proud to be serving Anwatin Middle School since 1998. Project SUCCESS began working at Anwatin Middle School at the invitation of Minneapolis Public School Deputy Superintendent Cheryl Creecy, who at the time was principal of Anwatin Middle School. Teachers and students immediately embraced the program and welcomed our staff into their classrooms.
At Anwatin Middle School, Project SUCCESS offers the following programming:
· Opportunities for each student and their family to attend between six and twelve free theater performances at 26 area theaters;
· In-class, goal-setting workshops;
· A professionally produced musical each spring;
· BWCA summer adventures for over 50 students.
