Beginning in 2009, Project SUCCESS worked hand-in-hand with Sanford Middle School students, launching a new tradition of the annual school musical. Over 45 students have worked in front of and behind the scenes, working directly with professional quality sound, sets, lighting and costumes, in addition to acting and singing. To enhance the learning experience, Project SUCCESS has brought in professional directors and musicians. This one-on-one contact with local artists and students is a key way in which Project SUCCESS allows live theater to permeate school walls.
