Working hand-in-hand with students at Anwatin Middle School, Project SUCCESS produces yearly school musicals that have included: Guys and Dolls, The Music Man, Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Here's Where I Stand, Seussical: The Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, The Wiz, Willy Wonka, and 2010's High School Musical. More than 150 students work in front of and behind the scenes, working directly with professional quality sound, sets, lighting and costumes, in addition to acting and singing. To enhance the learning experience, Project SUCCESS brings in professional directors and musicians. This one-on-one contact with local artists and students is a key way in which Project SUCCESS allows live theater to permeate school walls.
